Vacancy: Sun Protection Technician

What will you do as a sun protection technician?

As a sun protection technician, you play an important role in installing, maintaining, and repairing sun protection systems for customers. You work together with a colleague at various locations. One day you install new sun protection, the next day you resolve a malfunction or perform maintenance. You install, among other things: screens, awnings, roller shutters, or other sun protection systems. These can be both manual and motorized. You prepare the work thoroughly. You ensure that materials and tools are ready. On-site, you safely set up equipment for working at heights. Afterwards, you record your work neatly in the system and ensure professional handling with the customer. No two days are the same. You work at different locations and have a lot of contact with customers.

Your profile

You enjoy working with your hands and have an interest in technology or installation work. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You are handy and technically minded;
• You enjoy working outdoors and at various sites;
• Working at heights does not intimidate you;
• You enjoy working in a team;
• You take responsibility for your work;
• You communicate effectively with customers and colleagues;
• Category B driver's license.

Additional assets:

• Experience as a technician, installer, or mechanic;
• Knowledge of electricity or motorization;
• VCA certificate;
• Experience with aerial work platforms or scaffolding.

No experience in sun protection yet? No problem. With the right motivation, you will quickly learn the trade in practice.
